Our son weighed in at a hearty 8 pounds 5.7 ounces and is 20" long!
He is healthy, happy, eating, sleeping, gurgling and being peaceful.
Mom and Dad are doing well and couldn't be more delighted!

Despite my dapper attire, I did not perform the C-section. Our boy was simply too big for the journey.

We can't stop kissing him. He is love and hope. Declan means "Man of Prayer."
We could watch him forever and ever.
His first bird sighting. I was holding him this morning (12-29-07, Thank you Teri Neilsen for pointing out my incorrect date!) and a Coopers Hawk pranced around on the parking garage outside of our window. I should tell you, Declan nurses the best when I do my Barred Owl calls! It keeps him awake anyway.
