James
E. Haas - Biography
James E. Haas was born and raised in College Point,
NY. Following his 1965 graduation from St. John's University,
he moved to Baltimore, Maryland and pursued a Master's
Degree in Religious Education, which was granted in
1972 by the Ecumenical Institute of Theology, St. Mary's
Seminary & University. He has authored eleven books
and numerous articles covering a wide variety of topics
including religious education, liturgy, the Civil War,
genealogy and most recently Conrad Poppenhusen -
The Life of a German-American Industrial Pioneer.
Haas and his wife Lynne live in Annapolis, MD.
